Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great vacation. With the New Year some changes are happening to our little toddler community. We are sad to say goodbye to two of our friends, but know they are moving on to bigger and better things. In January, Emma will be transitioning to Ms. Trish’s class and Adi will be moving up to Ms. Rachel’s class. Good luck Emma and Adi, we will miss you!

With their departure, we are welcoming two new children to our environment. You may have met Anja at the door recently as one of her favorite activities is to help me shut the door after saying goodbye to you in the morning. We will also be welcoming Anikka to our class as well as her twin sister to Ms. Kristy’s class. So if you see any new faces in the hallway, please give them a warm welcome!

I also wanted to give a big thank you to everyone for contributing to our class gift. With your generous donations we have been able to purchase a new Vita Mix blender! I can’t wait to try out all sorts of new tasty and healthy recipes with the toddlers! We are going to get more creative with our smoothies, try out new dips; this blender can even make and cook soups! It’s going to be quite an adventure! If there is a special something you enjoying making with your toddler, let me know. I’m always looking for new recipes.

As always, thank you for sharing your children with us. They truly are treasures.
